The two rooms on the ground floor are in the oldest part of the farmhouse and feature impressive stonewalls and beamed ceilings. The first-floor rooms are bright and colorful with large windows. All rooms are equally comfortable and all offer breathtaking views of Assisi’s valley blanketed with meadows, forests and olive groves.
All guestrooms have reading lights, beautifully tiled en-suite bathrooms and radiant heating beneath the terracotta floors. The position of the house high up in the hills (600 mt/1800 ft above sea level) guarantees cool nights even in the height of the summer. The vine-covered patio and terrace are perfect spots for al fresco picnics on summer evenings.
You will enjoy breakfast in the large sala that has been decorated with colorful local pottery. There is a lounge area with open fireplace and a comprehensive collection of pictures and guidebooks to help you plan your vacation. Even though we have no cooking facilities, a small refrigerator is available to store drinks and sandwiches.
For those who don’t mind trading a few hours of sightseeing for the opportunity to spend a day in an Italian kitchen, we offer cooking classes in English.
